CUSTOMER SATISFACTION & RETURN POLICY

1. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
   IMPORTANT

   PRICES & MINIMUM WEB ORDERS:  $25 minimum -Not including shipping  taxes. All prices are in Canadian Dollars.

   SHIPPING CHARGES:   Are automatically calculated for all North American shipments. Exceptions will apply for to overweight/oversize items to some destinations. You will be contacted prior to shipping to confirm additional charges. International Orders will be quoted on a order per order basis. For international orders: Shipping orders will be quoted prior to processing order.

   RETURNS: No return will be accepted without a return material authorization (RMA) number.

    

   REFUNDS: A restocking fee of 20% may apply on product returned for refund. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any product. Items that have the outer packaging damaged in any way or are missing accessories or packaging materials cannot be accepted for return. Product in which the UPC bar code is removed from the package (as when applying for a rebate) or which have been registered with the manufacturer cannot be accepted for return.

   RMA numbers are valid for ten business days after issue. Your RMA number(s) must appear clearly on the shipping label of the return shipment and on a copy of the invoice to be enclosed with the return.

   PLEASE DO NOT MARK THE ITEM'S BOX ITSELF IN ANY WAY AS THESE ITEMS WILL BE A VOIDED RETURN.

   We will only accept returns on most non-defective products returned for a credit or exchange within 14 days of purchase for full refund less shipping charges with prior authorization (RMA#).  Items which cannot be returned under the Customer Satisfaction Policy are specified in Section 3 below. 

   All items returned must be in completely new and re-saleable condition complete with original packaging. GPS receivers returned with the outer packaging marked in any way will be refused and returned to the customer. Opened accessories, software products, special order items and electronic charts are not returnable unless defective (see Section 2 below).

   Shipping and Handling Fees are not refundable, with the exception of orders incorrectly shipped by Deakin Industries.

   Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of returned product and will be credited back to the original credit card or account. 

2. DEFECTIVE RETURNS

   Defective items will be exchanged within 30 days from the shipment date using one of the following methods, at your option:

   1. Upon receipt of the defective item, we will send out a replacement to you at no charge using either Canada Post Regular Mail or,
   2. Subject to availability, we will ship (via Canada Post Regular Mail) a replacement unit to you and charge your credit card on file for the item. Upon receipt of the defective item, the amount charged to your card for the replacement will be refunded back to the card.

   Defective software products may be exchanged for the same title only.

   You will be responsible for the return shipping costs to Deakin Equipment Ltd. We will pay the shipping charges for returning the replacement item to you, and we ship all returns either by Canada Post Regular Mail. You may upgrade the shipping method by paying the difference in cost between our standard method and the method you choose.

   After 30 days from the shipment date, the terms of the manufacturer's warranty will apply.

3. NON-RETURNABLE / NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS:

   Software Products: All software are non-returnable for credit or exchange. Software product are subject to license agreements or terms established by the software publisher. Be sure to read and agree to the license before using the software.

   * SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS are non-returnable for credit or exchange. These products include Special Order Garmin GPS units as indicated on the product page.

   Standard stock GPS units and accessories must be returned with the original packaging and not used or registered with the manufacturer.

   e-Coupons and all other coupons/promo vouchers cannot be used towards GPS unit and accessory purchases.

4. PRICING AND TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

   All are prices are in CANADIAN DOLLARS subject to change without notice. We make every effort to provide you the most accurate, up-to-the-minute information. Despite our best efforts, some items on our web site may be mispriced.

   In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Deakin Equipment Ltd. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.

   If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.

   If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of the price error and order cancellation. You will, of course, have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price, if you so wish.
