The Katadyn KFT Element, also known as part number 1040, is the replacement filter for the Katadyn Expedition Water Filtration System. Easy to clean, easy to install. Removes impurities down to 0.2 microns. The KFT-1040 element is composed of silver impregnated ceramic to help prevent bacteria growth.
