In 1971, my father Ross Deakin Sr. founded the first professional outfitting company for mineral exploration crews. By keeping his word and consistently sourcing the best products for his customers, Ross earned a reputation as a trusted source for quality, and a name you can count on. As a result, Deakin is now outfitting a wide array of professionals and industries all around the world. These include earth scientists, engineers, government agencies, schools, search and rescue, outdoor guiding, and even the film industry. Evan Deakin and the entire Deakin Team continue to grow the business while always upholding the founder’s values and commitments. Like my father always said - “We’re big enough to fill your order, yet small enough to care.”
